with 314 other "HATTERS". The hosting chapter "Rubies and Pearls" of Hillsville, Virginia provided a fun filled day with lots of entertainment, vendors, plenty of food and a promise of doing it all again next year. What a group of friendly ladies they are.....
Queen Linda was officially crowned and the coronation was beautiful and also a barrel of laughs. Thanks for sharing this day with us.....
Next outing will be the May 3, 2008 Queen's Council meeting in Winston Salem, NC. See all of you Queens and Vice Queens there.

Congrats to Queen Linda. Sounds like you all had a great time!
Thank you for attending our Red Hats on the Mountain, Brenda. We didn't know what we were doing but we did pretty good, I guess.
Thanks Cassandra! It was fun and a total surprise.
The best surprises are always the most fun. I was very impressed with all the ladies who attended. And I always enjoy seeing the sea of pretty red hats in the room. The only complaint I heard at all, was that maybe having 2 lines for the luncheon would have made things go quicker, but I think it would have been hard to do with the setup they had to work with. All in all things went very smooth with that many women in one location. There were more than 315 I believe. I was impressed, and look forward to when we can do something like that. Great job "Rubies and Pearls". ~ Debbie
